“Simplicity in Guided Surgery and Prosthetic Driven Planning “

Hands-on Workshop

This presentation is graciously co-sponsored by

MIS IMPLANTS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. +

This course will encompass the application of computer-guided implantology. The course is designed for both implant and non-implant clinicians to take their clinical and technological skills to the highest level with the most modern technology available. Prosthetic-driven planning, CBCT Imaging, and 3D implant planning software will be discussed to familiarize attendees with the computer-planning portion of the process. Guided key-free surgical techniques will be discussed, allowing clinicians to work comfortably anywhere in the mouth in a less cumbersome manner. The hands-on portion of the course will allow attendees to use patient specific surgical guide with a corresponding surgical kit to place implants in a fully guided procedure from pilot drilling to placement. The course will also provide practical information to incorporate interactive planning, 3D printed surgical guides, and state-of-the-art surgical instruments.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss the application of guided implantology in regards to implant case planning and placement.
  2. Understand the relationship of 3D virtual planning to the real patient’s mouth.
  3. Plan the implant treatment with a prosthetic solution at the forefront.
  4. Accurately use guided surgical instruments to perform guided surgery, as well as guided implant placement.
  5. Understand the advantages of using a guided implantology system in their practice
