An Evidence Based Approach to Deciding When?”

Technology has evolved to the point where there are now distinct advantages to utilizing digital impression systems. This program will help you decide when, not if, you should become involved in digital impression taking using an intraoral scanner. An evidence-based approach to quantify and compare the advantages of digital versus analog techniques will be utilized. Return on investment calculators with multiple variables based on your practice style will be used to help evaluate the potential savings with going digital. Demonstration and hands-on evaluation of select intraoral scanners so you may evaluate for yourself which system is best for your practice.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss the advantages of digital versus analog impression taking systems and apply this matrix to your own practice.
  • Evaluate the return on investment possibilities for embracing digital intraoral scanning with specific for their practice situation, remake patterns and mix of services.
